~ Dance & Celebrate ~
(Click image to follow to Facebook Event)
Join us this Sunday for a daytime dance in the Ecstatic Forest! We will be honoring the Fall Equinox as a balance of dark and light. So dress in layers; dress to dance & play! This is a kid friendly event! We have a 35 person limit. Please see details below.
---> PLEASE SECURE YOUR SPACE AHEAD OF TIME BY PURCHASING A TICKET VIA PAYPAL/VENMO
We will meet in front of the Stone Barn and go for a short hike up a gravel road to a very special opening in the forest we call “Coyote Village”. There is PLENTY of space to social distance and I've never seen poison ivy in this area. Please do your best to arrive by 2pm so we can have our walk and opening circle all together. If you are late, park in the lot by the barn, and walk up the gravel road. Even though you’re on foot, follow the “Cars ->” sign and then follow the sound.
We will open with a guided warm-up by Amy Dubenetsky. A creative expression easel will be set up by the amazing Sarah Sage with a canvas and paints for playful musings. The playlist has been co-created by Jackie Ryan and Amy Dubenetsky. Andrew Prue brings his incredible drumming talent, instruments to share, and a beautiful sound meditation at the end. No prior dance experience is necessary; Come as you are!
::What to Bring::
*Snacks for yourself so we can hang after the dance
*Hiking shoes if you want to explore the land afterwards
*Full water bottle (we will have a water refill station available, too)
This is a sober event. While we typically go barefoot at Ecstatic Dance, I recommend bringing comfortable shoes that you could dance in if you are not used to being barefoot in the woods. Please share this event with anyone you think might benefit from this experience. We are so grateful to see this community growing and thriving.
Suggested Sliding Scale: $15-25 for adults. $5 for kids over 8 y.o
